Yay, last day and we learn today what Hyacinth has to do to cope with all of these baby faeries.

IFJM DAY 28

Well, the frisky faeries from two of the mounds are all over the place.  They are causing mayhem.

IFJM DAY 27

Hyacinth made a startling discovery in the garden today and apparently the adult faeries were setting up "shop" in her garden to make little faeries.....and they make a LOT of mischievous hungry offspring.

IFJM day 25

Hyacinth and Vincenzo are settling in happily with their faeries, who are making the garden their home.

IFJM DAY 24

It was not a warm spring day and even faeries dress warm in the cold

IFJM DAY 23

I don't recommend riding in a car in NYC and trying to write anything.  So not cool, the top part of the page was the Belt Parkway.....I finished writing this on the Garden State Parkway when I could finally write without issues.

IFJM DAY 20

10 more days to go but this day is the day that Hyacinth finds out what is living in her garden!

IFJM DAY 19

This was the last day of the Paint Snow Hill Event and Hyacinth, Vincenzo and Rascal also moved on to another spot....

IFJM DAY 18

I did a thumbnail sketch of a painting I started and decided that this one was not frame worthy so it never made it I r the Paint Snow Hill sale.  However, it was good enough for Hyacinth's journal.

My paintings: Paint Snow Hill

This past weekend I participated in the Paint  Snow Hill event.  The weather this year was perfect.

IFJM DAY 16

This cracks me up because by no means was I relaxing today.....

IFJM DAY 15

I am in MD participating in a plein air event.  Yesterday, I chose to do my journal entry at one of my painting spots and sketched as Hyacinth but in fact I was down a thumbnail sketch for my painting, lol.  Talk about multi tasking.

Here is my journal page and the painting I  did yesterday evening.

IFJM DAY 14

Here's my post for Day 14.....sorry, I was packing on the 14th and never got the chance to post this.

IFJM Day 12

Today was an anti climax to yesterday. Hyacinth and Vincenzo relaxed and enjoyed the nice Spring Day.  No trees are budding or flowering yet....spring seems to be standing still, but at least the bulbs are staring to come up.

IFJM Day 8

Nothing really dramatic, Hyacinth doing some chores, but also trying some little experiments to see what reaction she can get from the new "tenants."

IFJM Day 6

Well it seems that the mysterious garden guests are making themselves at home, even "borrowing" from the home owner.

IFJM day 5

I had a full day today and the fountain pen took advantage of me this evening.  I should have used my Pen & Ink fountain pen.  Anyway, Hyacinth and Vincenzo are noticing some minor although some strange things happening.

IFJM Day 3

Well, as in real life, weather can get in the way of the best laid plans.  Hyacinth and her husband, Vincenzo, decide to work on mapping out their spring plantings.  However, Hyacinth didn't forget about the unusual findings in her back yard....

Some more sketches

Day 2 of IFJM

Hmm.  This pen has never run after a wash with water before....whatever Hyacinth found in her garden, it seems to not want the rest of the world to know about it.....read on....it will be hard to read....

April is International Fake Journal Month

This year, we will be reading from the journal pages of a woman who discovers she has unexpected tenants living in her garden.

Yesterday's Sketch

This is Flo's.....a Great South Bay summer spot located in Blue Point, NY......still waiting for the weather to warm up.....this was sketched yesterday.

Sketch from Sunday

This was sketched on what used to be a boarding school for wealthy kids, it's now part of St John's university.

Catching up on some posts

I am a bit behind on my posts.  Last Saturday, John and I drove to Riverhead and checked out an indoor Farmers Market... Afterwards I sat and sketched this over by the water.  I just got around to scanning this sketch today.
